Stuart A. Fullett is the managing shareholder of the firm. His practice is primarily concentrated in the representation of condominium, townhome and homeowners associations. He also represents business entities and individuals in a variety of commercial litigation. A former municipal prosecutor and criminal defense attorney who handled numerous types of civil and criminal cases before joining the firm, he heads the firm’s litigation practice, which includes construction cases, developer disputes, fair housing claims and community association covenant and rule enforcement issues. He also directly oversees all community association assessment collection matters handled by the firm and counsels community associations regarding governance issues and transactional matters. His previous experience working in the building trades affords him valuable insight in approaching construction issues encountered by the firm’s clients. He received his J.D. from The John Marshall Law School in 1988 and received his B.A. in Political Science from Loyola University Chicago in 1985. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Northwest Suburban Bar Association, the Community Associations Institute and the Association of Condominium, Townhouse and Homeowners Associations. He frequently authors and is quoted in articles relating to community association law and lectures in this area of the law.
